The project Ecosea aims to promote, improve and protect the marine and coastal environment through sustainable management of fishing activities From the Upper Adriatic District to the Adriatic-Ionian Macro-Regionand interventions for the development of fish resources and biodiversity, in order to concretely improve the general condition of the marine environment and at the same time ensure a sustainable development perspective for coastal communities depending on fisheries. The project started at the end of year 2012 and is funded by the IPA Adriatic Programme of the European Union. Its goal is to promote protection of marine environment and fisheries resources of the Adriatic.
